Charles N’Zogbia meets former club
Friday 30th September 2011, 3:45PM BST.
Aston Villa winger Charles N’Zogbia is determined to prove some of the doubters wrong when he comes up against former club Wigan.
N’Zogbia swapped the DW Stadium for Villa Park in the summer, but has so far shown only fleeting glimpses of the talent which persuaded manager Alex McLeish to part with £10million of his transfer budget.
But the 25-year-old is not fazed by his slow start to life with the club and has been working hard on the training ground at Bodymoor Heath.
He said: “There’s definitely more to come from me. It’s only been a month and a half since I came here. I think it is a bit early. I just have to fix things so I can create or score some goals.
“I have been working hard on it and I know it will come because I have that belief that I can beat any defence.
“I am confident it will come when I get a better feeling for where my team-mates make a run and when the confidence of the team is higher.”
