Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Darren Bent ‘touch and go’ for Villa
Tuesday 6th September 2011, 2:00PM BST.
Darren Bent was today rated as “touch and go” for Aston Villa’s Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday.
The 27-year-old striker was withdrawn from the England squad with a groin injury and has spent the past few days having treatment at Bodymoor Heath.
But manager Alex McLeish revealed the injury is not a serious one and is hopeful he will be fit enough for the trip to Goodison Park.
McLeish said: “It is touch and go, there is no doubt about that, because he is going to miss the England game tonight.
“We will be working round the clock to try and get him fit for the Everton game.
“Hopefully he will still be available for the weekend.”
