Villa will not sign Michael Bradley
Wednesday 22nd June 2011, 9:11AM BST.
Villa loan midfielder Michael Bradley will not be returning to the club next season.
The 23-year-old returned to Borussia Moenchengladbach at the end of last season and could see out the last year of his contract in Germany.
The United States international joined Villa in January and the club had the option of buying him, but new manager Alex McLeish has declined to do so.
Bradley struggled for playing time under former boss Gerard Houllier and made just four appearances, but insists he enjoyed his time at Villa Park.
He said: “The experience at Villa was a good one. Now they have a new manager coming in.
“From my end it’s good to know that and, at the end of the day, you don’t want to be anywhere where they don’t want you anyway.”
