The 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will roll through to the Midlands track Neal ragards as his home circuit, and Neal is looking to take full advantage of the home support on offer.

Halford Yuasa Racing's Neal had a shaky start in Kent at the Brands Hatch Indy curtain-raiser, suffering a collision in race one before managing to secure an impressive fourth-place finish in race three.

The Stourbridge racer is looking forward to being at his local track and is eager to celebrate victory, similar to how he and team mate and standing leader Gordon Shedden raced to a one-two finish at the circuit last year: "It's always great to race at my local track.

"I have a lot of special memories there, going right back to my very first BTCC win in 1999. I am really looking forward to it – and to celebrating my first win of the year on home turf!"

Even after an up-and-down start at Brands Hatch, Neal still managed to come away with positives in mind:

I was dead chuffed with the way I was able to battle back in races two and three and the Civic Type R felt great."

Neal's teammate Shedden leads the Driver's Standings on 48 points, with Neal currently 11th with 18.
