Wolves

Could Rickie Lambert be heading back to the Midlands? The former Liverpool and Southampton striker has fallen out of favour at Cardiff and reports have linked Paul Lambert with a move for the 34-year-old.

Lambert was previously interested in the front man back during his time at Aston Villa, and with Wolves' strikers struggling to hit the back of the net, he could be the answer.

He hasn't been prolific this season, but alongside the likes of Andi Weimann and Helder Costa - Lambert might feel that he could rekindle his form in front of goal.

West Brom

West Brom are battling for the signature of Everton centre-back Phil Jagielka - but face competition from a host of other Premier League clubs.

Having made over 250 appearances for the Toffees, the experienced 34-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Goodison Park.

However, Pulis could face a bidding war against the likes of Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Sunderland and Swansea City for the England international.

Aston Villa

Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom could be set to leave on loan, with Aston Villa eager to consider the young forward.

Steve Bruce knows the striker well having had him on-loan at Hull City previously. A loan move would also be well-suited to Villa to keep spending down.

Meanwhile Villa owner Dr. Tony Xia has fired up rumours that James Bree could head to Villa alongside Conor Hourihane from Barnsley - after following him on Twitter.

Bree is reportedly being courted by a number of clubs, but Villa are keen to test the water with a bid of £4m for the 19-year-old right-back.

Walsall

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
