The 22-year-old, who starred during the Glassboys historic run to the FA Cup third round, has spent the past few days on trial at Blues after spending last week training at Albion.

Scarr, who is contracted at the War Memorial Ground until the end of the season, was left on the bench for Stour's 4-0 win at Mickleover Sports on Tuesday evening. The centre-back played for Blues under-23s on Monday.

Stour have also received a seven-day approach for full-back Kristian Green from National League outfit Solihull Moors.

Scarr joined Stour in 2015 from Redditch United, having previously played at Causeway United in the Midland Football League.

He has developed into a formidable non-league defender and was one of the stars of this season's cup run, famously scoring in the 2-1 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers earlier this month.

Assistant boss Jon Ford confirmed the club had been approached by a Football League club.

He added: "It's got to be the right deal for the club and its got to be the right deal for Dan."
