Molineux legends Steve Bull, Andy Thompson and Robbie Dennison will appear at the Cleveland Arms Sports Bar, Stowheath Lane, to relive their magical Wembley memories.

The iconic Bull has twice appeared at the venue, alongside strike partner Andy Mutch, and gone down a hit with punters.

But this time he will be joined by Thompson, who joined Wolves alongside Bull in 1986, and Dennison, who scored the goal which sealed their 2-0 Wembley triumph over Burnley.

With over a thousand Wolves appearances between them, the trio were at the forefront of their climb back up the leagues in the late 1980s.

They then helped stabilise them in the second tier over the following decade, as the era of Sir Jack Hayward's ownership led the club to better days.

The event has already generated huge interest, with VIP tickets selling out in just a few hours, and supporters are being urged to act fast to secure their places.

Event promoter Will Adamson is anticipating an unmissable evening of nostalgia, featuring three of Wolves' most popular characters.

He said: "It's going to be a great night. VIP tickets sold out in three hours and we've already sold around half of the standard admission tickets.

"We're expecting a big turnout and people should get their tickets as soon as possible.

"Last time, we did something similar with Bully and Mutch we ended up putting on an extra date just to meet the demand, so I'm sure this will be another fantastic evening.

"The guys will have plenty of stories to tell, from when footballers were just ordinary guys who weren't earning millions like the players today.

"The man on the street will be certainly feel an affiliation to these guys, who helped put Wolves back on the map.

"The club had been in the doldrums for a long time when they came back to win the Sherpa Van Trophy. These players had a big role not just in that win, but in their climb back up the leagues.

"We're looking forward to having them at the Cleveland Arms, and we hope to see lots of people joining us to hear what they have to tell us."

General admission tickets are available for just £10 by calling 01902 451021 or visiting www.clevelandarms.com.
