We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Tottenham Hotspur's fringe player Nabil Bentaleb is the latest player to be linked with a move to Molineux.

The 21-year-old Algerian possesses every attribute required to be a success at the highest level in the game, but his opportunities for first-team football at White Hart Lane have been limited recently after only making five Premier League appearances last season.

WEST BROM

Crystal Palace could be back in the hunt for Saido Berahino - if West Brom ever see fit to sell him.

Everton have failed in an £18m bid for Palace's Yannick Bolasie as they want closer to £30m for the winger/striker.

But if the sale does go through, Berahino will be very much the man on everyone's lips.

Reports in Spain suggest Atletico Madrid's Borja Baston is set to join Fernanado Llorente at Swansea City.

However West Brom and Spurs are beleived to be monitoring the situation closely.

ASTON VILLA

Nantes are showing an interest in Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Veretout after just one season at Villa Park.

With Villa dropping down to the Championship, the 23-year-old could return to France, but it could enable the Roberto Di Matteo's men to land Nantes forward Yacine Bammou.

WALSALL

Bristol City are closing in on a move for Walsall left back Rico Henry.

No fee is disclosed at present and no press in the Midlands or Bristol are suggesting the deal is close.

It is hoped that Walsall will hold out for around £2m for their hottest prospect.

However E&S reporter Joe Masi beleives Jon Whitney will keep his star man at the Banks's.
