We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa's father has refuted claims his son has his heart set on a move into the Premier League with West Ham.

Dominic Iorfa Snr has confirmed, in quotes attributed to him by his publicist Ojeikere Aikhoje, that there is top-flight interest in the player.

The 20-year-old is under contract at Molineux for another three years and would cost, at least, £7million with Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Southampton also linked.

Iorfa Snr said: "It's a lie and I wonder where that came from. Although he is wanted by several Premier League clubs, the final decision is a subject for his representatives and the club.

"As a professional footballer, he cannot be selective. Moreover, he is happy at Wolves and has an excellent working relationship with the club."

WEST BROM

West Brom could lose out to Premier League rivals Southampton in the race to land Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond this summer.

The Saints could make him their top transfer target, if Sadio Mane leaves St Mary's to rejoin former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman at Everton.

Redmond is keen to stay in the top-flight after the Canaries' relegation a move back to the West Midlands would suit the talented 22-year-old.

The Birmingham-born wide man would cost any interested party around £8million, but that wouldn't deter the Baggies who do want a winger.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa are interested in offering free agent striker Steven Fletcher a contract as interest hots up in the recently-released Sunderland forward.

Fletcher cost the Black Cats £12million from Sunderland in 2012 and signed a four-year deal, but has been let go in the club's close-season clear out.

The 29-year-old finished last season on loan at French club Marseille, but only scored for them once in nine games, but is more likely to stay in England.

Villa would be an ideal move for him but Hull City - who have just been promoted to the Premier League - and Glasgow Celtic are both thought to be interested, too.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
