The Kidderminster-based Olympian is part of a six-strong recurve team for the event, hosted by Archery BG from May 23 to 29.

Folkjard is joined by fellow Olympian Amy Oliver and Bryony Pitman, who competed at the Youth Olympic Games in 2014 in the women's group.

The men's recurve line-up consists of triple Olympian Larry Godfrey, Patrick Huston, who recently won the recurve men's gold medal at the Marrakesh World Cup, and promising young archer Kieran Slater.

They will be joined by the compound team, which was announced last month, to make the full GB squad taking on Europe's best archery talent.

The male compound archers are Duncan Busby, Adam Ravenscroft and Neil Bridgewater, while Daisy Clark, Naomi Jones and Andrea Gales represent the women. The compound team boasts a wealth of experience from Commonwealth Games and World Cups, with Ravenscroft hoping to continue his success after winning an individual bronze medal at last year's World Championships.

The GB team will compete against hundreds of archers from across the continent at the qualification and elimination rounds at the University of Nottingham's Highfields playing fields.

The archers will be hoping to achieve Rio Olympics qualification places as well as making the team and individual head-to-head finals that take place at the end of the week in a purpose-built arena in the very heart of Nottingham city centre.
