We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves are looking around Europe to strengthen their squad with signings this month, armed with funds after striker Benik Afobe's move to Bournemouth.

Yacine Bammou, who plays in France's top-flight for Nantes, could be the man earmarked to replace Afobe, who joined the Cherries for £10million.

The French-born Moroccan forward has hit four goals in 18 league outings so far this season, but wants to start games more regularly.

He's been dubbed 'the Cinderella Man,' after only getting his crack at professional football in 2013 following a stint working in the Paris Saint-Germain club shop.

Sources in Holland also claim Wolves are seriously interested in Denmark left-back Nicolai Boilesen, who is out-of-favour at Dutch giants Ajax.

The 23-year-old has played 52 times in the league for the club and is becoming increasingly open to a move, after being left out in the cold.

WEST BROM

West Brom could face a double blow in their efforts to strengthen on the wing with two favoured options becoming all the more distant.

Bournemouth are ready to hijack their move for £8m-rated Queens Park Rangers' Matthew Phillips, a long-standing target at the Hawthorns.

And another wide man, England international Andros Townsend, has apparently already told his club, Tottenham Hotspur, he's not interested in joining Albion.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa have again watched German goalkeeper Lukas Raeder as they look for a long-time solution to filling the berth.

Veteran Mark Bunn was between the sticks for Tuesday's 1-0 win at home to Crystal Palace, with first-choice Brad Guzan dropped.

Raeder featured for Portuguese club Vitoria Setubal, where he has played since 2014, in a league game against Pacos Ferreira this week.

The 22-year-old started his career at Bayern Munich in his homeland before heading overseas and would want to be a No 1 in the Premier League.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
