We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves are one of three Championship clubs who have been linked with a possible move for Colchester United midfielder George Moncur.

The former West Ham starlet, son of ex-Premier League performer John, has grown with the Us since arriving at the club in summer 2014.

His contract until the end of next season, but that hasn't stopped Wolves, Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic looking at the 22-year-old.

WEST BROM

West Brom striker Saido Berahino's chances of moving to Tottenham Hotspur this month may diminish due to fears over the player's attitude.

Spurs had two bids rejected for Berahino in August and, since then, he's fallen out with senior team-mates and dropped out of the starting line-up.

The package put together for the 22-year-old was around £17.5million, but the powers-that-be at White Hart Lane now consider him worth less than that.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is also concerned he could be a disruptive presence in the dressing room, due to his antics with the Baggies.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa manager Claudio Beauvue is hoping to utilise his contacts in his homeland of France to land out-of-favour Lyon striker Claudio Beauvue.

Garde spent six seasons as a player and three years as a boss at Lyon, where Beauvue has flattered to deceive since arriving in the close-season.

The 27-year-old joined from Guingamp, where he scored 34 goals in 94 games, with West Ham also interested but has scored just four times.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
