We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves striker Benik Afobe could yet attract another interested party for his services now the transfer window has reopened for January.

Afobe has been linked with a club-record move to Championship rivals Derby County, while Norwich City are still known to be keen.

Now he's been targeted by the Canaries' Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, who want to reunite him with his old Wolves team-mate Bakary Sako.

Palace are apparently preparing a joint £20million bid for Afobe and Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey. The 22-year-old will cost, at least, £12m.

WALSALL

Wolves are rumoured to have Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw on their radar, regardless of what happens with Afobe this month.

Bradshaw is being courted by a host of other Championship sides in Huddersfield, Birmingham and Preston, while Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers have also been mentioned.

The 23-year-old, who is on the fringes of the Wales squad, would cost in excess of £750,000. Swindon had a £500,000 bid rejected in August.

WEST BROM

Norwich could switch their attentions from Afobe to West Brom striker Saido Berahino this month, who is increasingly likely to leave the Hawthorns.

Berahino is even more desperate to get out of Albion after losing his place in the starting line-up and his price may have dropped as a result.

He wants to revive a move to Tottenham Hotspur, who had two bids rejected in August, or join Jurgen Klopp's revolution at Liverpool.

But, should they pursue alternative targets, the 22-year-old may find himself more open about the prospect of heading to Carrow Road.

Albion insist they need to move players out before bringing signings into the club, but they do want Hull City midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady.

Sources in Egypt claim the Baggies and Everton are interested in the 28-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, and will table bids of £1m.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa's bad-boy winger Jack Grealish could find his time up at his boyhood club this month, after off-field antics left him out-of-favour.

The 20-year-old has twice been reprimanded for wild nights out, the last straight after featuring in a lifeless 4-0 defeat away to Everton.

New manager Remi Garde is thought to have had enough of his behaviour and will listen to offers, with Villa staring relegation in the face.

Finding a top-flight suitor appears unlikely, with Derby and Queens Park Rangers the only Championship sides with the financial clout to land him. Grealish would cost around £8m.

And Villa exile Philippe Senderos could be handed an escape route by Italian outfit Lazio, having not featured for the claret and blues since November 2014.

The 30-year-old defender's deal is up in the summer and he still has admirers in Italy, having featured for AC Milan on loan from Arsenal in 2008-09.
