Euro 2016 draw in full: England to play Wales in group stages

England and Wales will play each other in their second match of Euro 2016 after both were drawn in Group B.

The two nations will also play Russia and Slovakia in the group stages of the tournament which will begin with France v Romania in Paris on June 10.

Group A

France, Romania, Albania, Switzerland

Group B

England, Russia, Wales, Slovakia

Group C

Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Northern Ireland

Group D

Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Croatia

Group E

Belgium, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Sweden

Group F

Portugal, Iceland, Austria, Hungary

England's tournament will start on June 11 against Russia in Marseille, a few hours after Wales face Slovakia in Bordeaux.

England and Wales will then play each other in Lens on June 16. The final Group B fixtures will take place on June 20 when England will play Slovakia in Saint Etienne and Wales will face Russia in Toulouse.

Northern Ireland have been drawn in Group C alongside Germany, Ukraine and Poland, while the Republic of Ireland have been put in what appears to be the Group of Death with Belgium, Italy and Sweden.

With 24 teams taking part for the first time in the tournament's history the top two teams from each group will qualify for the round of 16 alongside the four strongest third-placed finishers.

Should England or Wales win Group B they will play a third-placed team from Group A, C or D. Finish second and they will play the runners up of Group F.

England's 100 per cent qualifying record guaranteed they would avoid hosts France and fellow top seeds Spain, Germany, Portugal and Belgium.

The tournament concludes on July 10, with the final taking place at the Stade de France.

In total there will be 51 games at ten different cities.
