Transfer Rumours - December 11
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves have handed Hartlepool United midfielder Brad Walker the chance to impress by taking him on a week's trial.
The 20-year-old has spent the past few days training with the squad and it's understood he has impressed boss Kenny Jackett.
Walker caught the attention of Jackett two seasons ago, when he came to the fore at Victoria Park under boss Colin Cooper.
They follow up with a firm bid in the January transfer window opens for Walker, who has been in and out of the Pools side.
WEST BROM-ASTON VILLA
West Brom could rival Aston Villa's interest in former England left-back Ashley Cole, after the claret and blues admitted their interest.
Villa have revealed they want to bring in the 34-year-old, who hasn't played competitively since turning out for Italian club Roma in March.
But Albion are also searching for an answer in that area, a role which the experienced former Arsenal and Chelsea star could easily fill.
Cole may yet opt for a payday in Major League Soccer, though, having been linked with a move to a host of clubs in the United States.
