We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves could offer League One side Millwall the chance to buy borrowed midfielder George Saville permanently in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old, a £1million signing from Chelsea last year, joined the Lions in October on a loan deal that has been extended until the New Year.

Saville has been a hit at the New Den and, should be want to join permanently, Wolves would consider cutting their losses for £500,000. Brentford and Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic would also be keen.

WEST BROM

Manchester United are apparently leading Tottenham Hostpur in the chase to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino for £25million.

The Red Devils are likely to firm up their interest in Albion's star forward with a bid and the player would prefer to go to Old Trafford.

Spurs, who failed with three bids for Berahino in August, could turn to Alexandre Pato. The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians in his homeland of Brazil.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa's longest-serving player Gabby Agbonlahor could be shown the door if he fails to impress new boss Remi Garde.

The club captain has been with the club since 1994 and has made over 350 appearances after coming through the youth ranks.

The 29-year-old has yet to feature in Garde's first two games in charge, due to a calf injury, and has long struggled to find the net regularly.

His Villa career could be over if he doesn't impress the Frenchman. The likes of Sunderland, Norwich City and Stoke City are keeping tabs.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
