They faced local rivals Pensnett Youth and showed no mercy, emerging comfortable 9-0 victors, writes Dave McLean.

Last season's top marksman Steve Jeavons helped himself to four more goals.

He was well supported by Ryan Cartwright and Tom Richards, who both struck doubles, with the scoring rounded off by Matt Beeson.

Unbeaten Panthers have now won all 10 league and cup games this season. There was a welcome league win for Bradmore Social.

They followed up their previous Sunday's Beacon Cup win over Claregate Park Rangers by collecting maximum points with a 4-0 triumph against the same opponents.

Neither side was able to force the breakthrough in the opening period, but two quick second-half efforts set Bradmore on their way after the restart.

Star man Charlie Desenyei fired a hat-trick, with Danny Pugh adding the other.

On a day when Birmingham FA Sunday Vase holders Sportsman crashed out in the second round, Dynamo Dudley were the pride of the Beacon League.

They ran out 4-3 winners at Yardley-based Billesley. Dynamo raced in to a 4-1 interval lead as Aaron Dunn, Steve Jones, Kyle Harper and Joe Lawley inflicted the damage on Billesley.

The hosts struck back with a brace in the second-half but Dynamo held out to take their place in round three.

There was late heartbreak for Sportsman after they had hit back from two downs to level against visiting Great Barr Cat & Fiddle with fine efforts from Chris Hunter and Jay Chambers.

After Sportsman missed a great chance to take the lead, Great Barr broke away to snatch a late winner.

And there was disappointment for Premier Division outfit New Park Village in the third round of the Staffs FA TB Williamson Cup as they bowed out 4-2 at home to a strong Greenhoffs FC.

Conroy Edwards and Ryan Mason were on the mark for the Village.

Springvale Academy secured a quarter-final spot in the Lester Charity Cup with a fine 9-2 win over Bushbury EMB Rovers.

A hat-trick from Ryan O'Brien, doubles from Tony Cliff and Luke Green and singles from Matt Rooke and Shaquille Ologlatere saw them ease home.

The Academy now entertain Sandwell Action in the last eight.
