We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves are apparently in the race to bring in Newcastle United winger Yoan Gouffran before the loan window closes a week tomorrow.

Championship rivals Charlton have also been linked to the 29-year-old Frenchman, who has played just 65 minutes of Premier League football in two appearances this season.

Gouffran can operate on the flank or up front which would appeal to Wolves boss Kenny Jackett, who is still short on numbers after Bakary Sako's summer departure and a long-term injury to Nouha Dicko.

Jackett has five loanees, the maximum he can name in a match-day squad, but would considering shuffling players around if he can land Gouffran temporarily.

WEST BROM

West Brom defender James Chester has cast doubt on his Hawthorns future, with claims he needs game-time at club level to safeguard his Wales spot for next summer's European Championship.

The 26-year-old only joined the Baggies from Championship side Hull City for £8million in July, but has struggled to pin down a first-team place.

Just five appearances for Albion has left Chester sweating on his international future, which could lead him to ask for a loan move away from the club.

He said: "I have to start playing at West Brom, because it's impossible to play at this level and not be playing for your club week-in, week-out.

"It's nearly impossible to not play every week and then come to this level expecting to be 100 per cent.

"I need to be playing at my club to give me the best chance of going to France and playing when we get there.

"I don't think it's good enough to be playing for Wales when I'm not playing for West Brom."

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa's chances of landing Queens Park Rangers forward Charlie Austin in January will depends on their progress under new boss Remi Garde.

Austin does not want to be embroiled in a relegation battle for the second season running, after going down to the second-tier with Rangers earlier this year.

The 26-year-old wants to be back in the top-flight and pushing for an England call-up, so Villa will need to be pulling away from danger if they are to entice him.

The Hoops hotshot's stock has remained high, with seven goals in 12 games this term after 18 in 35 Premier League matches in the last campaign.

WALSALL

Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw is being tracked by a host of clubs, including Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers. according to reports.

The Wales international, 23, has also been linked to Championship clubs Birmingham, Brentford, Cardiff, Preston and Sheffield Wednesday.

Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers and a quintet of Championship clubs are all considering January or summer moves for Saddlers top scorer Tom Bradshaw, according to national newspaper reports.

Bradshaw has banged in 29 goals in 57 appearances for Walsall over the last season-and-a-half and was called-up to to the senior Wales squad for last weekend's friendly with Holland.
