We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Up to three Premier League clubs could be planning a double swoop on Wolves for England Under-21 international defenders Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause.

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Southampton are all monitoring the duo, who have broken through to the Wolves first-team and are firmly in boss Kenny Jackett's plans.

Jackett is keen to tie down the duo to as long-term contracts as possible and, rest assured, Wolves will command top dollar to sell the two.

WEST BROM

West Brom may line up a loan move for striker Victor Anichebe before deciding whether to offer trialist Ricardo Vaz Te a short-term contract.

The Baggies are running the rule over the former Bolton and West Ham man, now 28, this week and could offer the Portuguese forward a deal.

Should he impress, Vaz Te would be given terms until the transfer window reopens in January, which could free up Anichebe for a switch.

Championship side Derby County want to borrow him, offering a loan fee and to pay a substantial part of the Nigeria international's wages.

Albion are also keen for the injury prone 27-year-old to prove his fitness, too, so first-team football elsewhere could be an attractive proposition.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa haven't given up on signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor - but must wait until the transfer window reopens.

Adebayor has been paid off by Spurs and is now, effectively, a free agent but cannot sign for another Premier League club under their regulations.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood tried and failed to convince the Togo hit-man to join on deadline day, but the player thought he was too far off match fitness at the time.

The 31-year-old now has three months to get himself ready and could even spend some of that time with Villa, using their facilities.

He would be fully integrated into the squad before putting pen to paper, with Sherwood able to witness first-hand how he's progressing.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
