WOLVES

Sky Bet Championship rivals Fulham are poised to pay £1million up front and £1m in add-ons for Richard Stearman.

Jackett, who was left counting the cost of the win against Charlton after striker Nouha Dicko was carried off on a stretcher with a "serious" knee injury, said: "The club have accepted a bid from Fulham and Richard is discussing personal terms."

WEST BROM

Tony Pulis is targeting Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips in a double raid on Queens Park Rangers – if Saido Berahino leaves West Bromwich Albion.

Pulis has made contingency plans for the potential sale of Berahino by making a fresh inquiry about Austin and Phillips, as he prepares for a frenetic two days.

ASTON VILLA

Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Stoke City are set to be disappointed in their hunt for Bordeaux frontman Diego Rolan, as the player signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 side.

The Uruguayan striker has decided to stay with Willy Sagnol's side this season and has put pen to paper on a new deal, tying him to the club until 2018.

WALSALL
