WEST BROM

Reports suggest West Brom are closing in on Spurs central defender Federico Fazio.

Various sources claim a £5m bid has been made for the former Sevilla defender, 28, who has played international football for Argentina.

Albion are also looking to complete the signing of Cardiff City keeper David Marshall this week.

The Baggies, who had been linked with Manchester United's Jonny Evans and are expected to be at the forefront of transfer activity between now and the end of the window.

ASTON VILLA

Sunderland are considering a move to sign Kieran Richardson from Aston Villa after suffering two consecutive losses.

The 30-year-old is being eyed for a return to his former club following a five year spell at the Stadium of Light earlier in his career.

WALSALL
