WOLVES

West Ham are interested in making a move for Wolves striker Benik Afobe, who's also been linked with Aston Villa.

The Hammers join Aston Villa in the race for the England U21 international striker who spent five years at the Emirates but never made a first-team appearance for the Gunners.

WEST BROM

West Brom are set to rekindle interest in Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis wants two new centre-backs and a left-back to strengthen his leaky defence.

United will accept a knock-down £7million for Evans and have fielded enquiries from Everton among others.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa have joined fellow Premier League sides Newcastle United, Sunderland and West Ham in the race to sign Tottenham winger Andros Townsend.

The North London club would be willing to let Townsend depart for around £15million. Having previously worked under the management of Tim Sherwood, the player may favour a move to Villa Park.

WALSALL

Walsall have rejected a bid from Swindon Town for star striker Tom Bradshaw.

Speaking after the Saddlers' 2-0 win at Southend United, manager Dean Smith revealed the Robins had tabled an offer for their top goalscorer before simply stating he was "not for sale".
