WOLVES
Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald is more likely to sign a new contract now Championship rivals Fulham have abandoned their pursuit of him.
The 26-year-old Scot publicly voiced his disdain of the offer from Molineux, but has now been left without an interested party to take him away.
WEST BROM
West Brom are trying to land talented left-back Jose Enrique on loan from Liverpool to finally solve their issues of a regular operator in the position.
The 29-year-old, a £7million signing for the Reds in 2011, has fell down the pecking order at Anfield and is kicking the heels in the reserves.
ASTON VILLA
Former England winger Aaron Lennon is ready and waiting for Aston Villa to make their move, after being left out in the cold at Tottenham.
The 28-year-old hasn't even been given a squad number at Spurs this season, having spent the second half of last season out on loan at Everton.
The Toffees were told that Lennon could leave for £5m, with both them and Villa interested in him and another Spurs outcast, Emmanuel Adebayor.
WALSALL
Midfielder Zac Thompson, who spent a number of weeks on trial at Walsall this summer, has dropped into non-league to sign for Guiseley.
