We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves have tempered their interest in Cardiff City's Craig Noone and have turned their attentions to Southampton's 6ft 4in striker Sam Gallagher.

Nottingham Forest have today completed the signing of Leicester City goalkeeper Ben Hamer. Wolves had been tracking the shot stopper, but the 27-year-old preferred a loan move to the City Ground

WEST BROM

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing a bid for Marseille midfielder Mario Lemina.

With former Arsenal man Abou Diaby set to snub the Midlands outfit for the Ligue 1 club this summer, the Baggies have identified his potential new teammate as the ideal alternative target.

Tottenham are reportedly closing in on a £15m deal to sign England Under-21 striker Saido Berahino.

Reports claim the transfer will be confirmed within the next 48 hours with the Baggies hitman set for a massive pay rise by switching to White Hart Lane.

West Brom look set to miss out on £16m rated Adrian Ramos. New Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel wants to keep him at the club.

Earlier reports suggested that both West Brom and Crystal Palace were eyeing up moves for the forward following a tough spell in Germany.

Albion may have a fight on their hands keeping hold of a striker this summer, as it has emerged Turkish side Trabzonspor are keen on adding to their striking department with Nigerian attacker Brown Ideye.

ASTON VILLA

Leicester City and Aston Villa are battling it out for the signature of Fabio Borini, who will be allowed to leave Liverpool.

Borini has struggled to make an impact during his time at Anfield and, following the arrival of Danny Ings and Christian Benteke, he has slipped even further down the pecking order.

Aston Villa are reportedly lining up another raid on French football for Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep.

The 22-year-old Cameroonian-born striker, who has two international caps for France, scored nine goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit last season.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
