We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

MK Dons look set to enter the Championship loan market, with Wolves midfielder Lee Evans a major target.

The Dons have recently been promoted to the second tier and believe that Evans could be a vital part of their midfield, having lost young prodigy Dele Alli to Spurs.

Kenny Jackett is looking closely at Norwich City's Gary O'Neil as he looks to add some bite and depth to the midfield before the start of the season.

The ex-Portsmouth and Middlesbrough stalwart has plenty of experience getting out of the Championship, having been promoted with three different clubs.

WEST BROM

West Bromwich Albion are on the verge of securing a deal for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

The Baggies are looking for a temporary replacement for number one stopper Ben Foster, who is expected to be sidelined until at least October having suffered cruciate knee ligament damage in March.

West Bromwich Albion have an interest in Swiss teenage sensation Breel-Donald Embolo, who is being chased by a number of top European clubs.

ASTON VILLA

Barnsley defender Marlon Holgate is a reported target for Aston Villa who have allegedly made a bid of £1m for the 18-year-old.

Lazio are interested in a deal for Ron Vlaar but want to check the defender's fitness before he signs.

The former Aston Villa centre back is out of contract and looks unlikely to agree a new deal at Villa Park, and was understood to have travelled to Rome on Tuesday night for talks.
