We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Everton have slipped behind Leicester as favourites in the race for Wolves striker Bakary Sako.

Sako is a free agent after his Wolves contract came to an end and wants to play in the Premier League.

The 27 year old scored 15 goals in the Championship last season with a further 10 assists and is wanted by Everton, Leicester and Aston Villa on a free transfer.

WEST BROM

Serge Gnabry has not featured for Arsenal since March 2014 and is set to join West Brom on loan this summer.

Albion could be the ideal place for the player with the likes of Jason Puncheon, Dwight Gayle and Yannick Bolasie thriving under Tony Pulis during his time at Crystal Palace.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa have put a bid of around £8m on the table for Nice's left-back Jordan Amavi.

Amavi has received a contract offer from Villa which would triple his salary, but even that has not initially swayed the player.

WALSALL

Wigan Athletic are closing in on the signing of former Walsall striker Will Grigg for £1m - which will see the Saddlers pick up £200,000.

Grigg left the Saddlers two years ago and signed for Brentford for £325,000 following a tribunal to decide the transfer figure.

Walsall were due £30,000 for every 20 competitive matches Grigg played, up to a maximum of 100, and receive 20% of any future transfer fee.

As Grigg played just thirty four games for the Bees, Walsall received only £30,000.
