We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves could turn to former Leeds United captain Rodolph Austin to give them a bit of bite in midfield for the next Championship campaign.

The Jamaica international, who can play in central defence or midfield, was surprisingly released from Elland Road at the end of last season.

Still only 30, Austin would add versatility and could well make Wolves more solid through the middle, through three years of experience in the division.

WEST BROM

West Brom are apparently set to bid £1million for Northern Ireland international Ben Reeves, who is looking to get back to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has rebuilt his career with Milton Keynes Dons - just promoted to the Championship - since he was shown the door by Southampton in 2013.

The midfielder was a key part of a talented Dons side that won promotion, but he remains ambitious and would consider Albion a step up.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa have joined West Brom and Championship sides Queens Park Rangers and Fulham in the race to land Swansea City right-back Jazz Richards.

The 24-year-old is set to move on from his first club this summer and there's no shortage of takers, between clubs in the two top divisions.

Both Villa and Albion believe Richards has the ability to be a regular for them, having been impressed with his shackling of Chelsea star Eden Hazard in Wales' win over Belgium recently.

Villa are definitely looking to cover the position having sold Matthew Lowton to Burnley this week, while Baggies loanee Andre Wisdom returned to Liverpool in the close season.

WALSALL

Walsall boss Dean Smith is coy on a return for ex-loanee Milan Lalkovic, who has slipped down the pecking order at League One rivals Barnsley.

Lalkovic scored twice for the Saddlers during a 13 game loan spell in 2013-14 from Chelsea, who released the Slovakian forward that summer.
