We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves winger Michael Jacobs could come back into the sights of League One side Coventry City, now their summer revamp is in full-flight.

The 23-year-old was linked with a loan move to the Sky Blues in March, but instead opted to stay in the Championship with relegated Blackpool.

Coventry manager Tony Mowbray has retained an interest in the nippy wide man, though, and may test the waters with a view to borrowing him.

Wolves won't make a decision until they have found Bakary Sako's replacement, as he's the only other option on the left for boss Kenny Jackett.

WEST BROM

West Brom could be in pole position if they want to sign free agent goalkeeper Brad Jones, with Nottingham Forest appearing to have ended their interest.

The 33-year-old Australia international is available after his release from Premier League side Liverpool at the end of the just-gone season.

The Baggies could need cover with first-choice Ben Foster out injured, while replacement Boaz Myhill is out-of-contract and yet to commit.

Jones could prove an able capture and Albion may not have to battle with Forest, who have decided against making a move for him so far.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa could be offered Liverpool striker Fabio Borini as bait to tempt them into allowing Fabian Delph to move to Anfield.

Borini was rated at £12million a year ago, when he turned down a move to Premier League rivals Sunderland to stay and fight for his place.

The 24-year-old Italian is of interest to Villa but they are not keen on losing Delph, who has become their captain and impressed for England.

The claret and blues would insist on a cash sum plus Borini, who only has a year left on his contract, to even consider allowing Delph to go.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
