We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves could turn to another free agent in Mark Bunn to cover their goalkeeping bases, if Tomasz Kuszcak doesn't sign a new deal at Molineux.

Boss Kenny Jackett is keen to provide top-class competition to No 1 Carl Ikeme, who had two spells out injured last season, for next season.

There still no word on the future of third-choice Aaron McCarey, either, after he failed a drug test and was suspended by the Football Association.

Jackett would prefer to keep former Manchester United and West Brom shot-stopper Kuszczak, on board, and has made him a new contract offer.

But Bunn, who has just been released after three years with Championship rivals Norwich City and is still only 30, may represent another option.

WEST BROM

West Brom and top-flights cohorts Sunderland may both offer midfielder Seko Fofana his first taste of Premier League football in a loan move.

Parent club Manchester City are keen for him to play at the highest level, after a successful loan spell in the second tier with Fulham last season.

There's interest in the France youth international from his homeland and Spain, but City would prefer that the 20-year-old stays in England.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann could be on the verge of joining Championship side Derby County for £2million, reports are suggesting.

The Austria international was touted as a target for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal last summer, but has gone badly off the boil.

Villa are now happy for the player to leave with manager Tim Sherwood ready to ship him out, so he could rebuild his career with the Rams.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
