We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves defender Richard Stearman could be a target for Championship rivals Fulham, who are looking for an experienced centre-back.

Stearman is the reigning Fans and Players Player of the Season and wants a new contract at Molineux, where he has been since 2008.

The 27-year-old former Leicester City stopper would consider a move, though, if an offer is not forthcoming and is wanted by other clubs.

WEST BROM

West Brom striker Saido Berahino is now apparently attracting interest from the likes of Everton, Southampton and Newcastle United.

The Baggies admit that their star striker, 21, could leave the Hawthorns if a top-four club come calling, but he's becoming a target for other teams.

Everton are not afraid to spend big for the right player, evidenced by the £28million capture of former Albion loanee Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea last summer.

Southampton also have money to burn after a player exodus before last season began, while Newcastle may push the boat out to appease their disgruntled fans.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa are considering raiding relegated Hull City for James Chester and and Dame N'Doye, now the Tigers have dropped into the Championship.

Fuming Villa manager Tim Sherwood is ready for a clear-out, after Saturday's dismal no-show in a 4-0 FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.

The claret and blues boss will need mass reinforcements, too, with Wales defender James Chester and Senegal striker Dame N'Doye linked.

Both would probably be released from the KC Stadium for fees in excess of £3million apiece, representing the sort of value Villa are looking for.

WALSALL

Walsall have been linked to a move for free agent midfielder Callum Reilly, who is after a new club after his release from Birmingham City.

The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland youth international was touted as a future star when he broke through to the Blues' first-team in 2012.
