Transfer Rumours - May 21
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WEST BROM
West Brom are apparently losing out to a mega-money offer from Russian club Dynamo Moscow in the race for striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
The 29-year-old Frenchman is set to leave top-flight side Marseille in his homeland this summer and there's big bucks on offer elsewhere.
Dynamo are apparently willing to offer the player a whopping £7.5million a season to sign for them, wages that the Baggies wouldn't match.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa are considering a risky move to bring want-away Tottenham Hotspur forward Emmanuel Adebayor for a spell in the Midlands.
Adebayor has been granted compassionate leave by his club - for a second time this season - to return to Togo for family reasons and is unhappy.
And Villa boss Tim Sherwood had a good relationship with the 31-year-old when both were at White Hart Lane, which could make a difference.
Sherwood may well to have replace Christian Benteke and the opportunity for Adebayor, who is out-of-favour at Spurs, to be the main man could well appeal to him.
WOLVES-WALSALL
Wolves have paraded Jed Wallace today after his £275,000 move from Portsmouth, while goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell confirmed he's leaving Walsall to move elsewhere.
