Transfer Rumours - May 13
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves are eyeing up Guinea international attacker Abdoul Camara as a potential replacement for Bakary Sako, who will soon leave the club.
Sako has yet to decide his future, but is out-of-contract and thought to be heading either to the Premier League or for a new challenge overseas.
Camara, two years younger at 25, would cost Wolves around £1million from French second-tier side Angers and holds a European passport.
WEST BROM
West Brom have £5million burning a hole in their pocket to sign a winger and are ready to make offers for new captures at the Hawthorns.
A deal to sign Queens Park Rangers winger Matthew Phillips could gather pace, now the Hoops have been relegated from the Premier League.
Should that fail to come to pass, attentions will turn to Nottingham Forest wide man Michail Antonio and, perhaps, Wolves' Bakary Sako.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has apparently targeted Brentford goalkeeper David Button as the club's future first-choice between the sticks.
The Villa boss wants another shot-stopper on the books despite having Brad Guzan, Shay Given and Jed Steer, the latter likely to be moved on.
Button, 26, started his career at Tottenham while Sherwood was on the coaching staff, while he's also known to goalkeeeping coach Tony Parks.
They believe the emerging custodian is coming of age as top-flight class, after establishing himself with the Bees in the Championship this year.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
