WEST BROM
West Brom are keeping tabs on Republic of Ireland midfielder Jeff Hendrick and may join Aston Villa in the race for his services.
Villa have already been linked but the Baggies are also interested, with Hendrick running out of patience with life at Derby County.
The 23-year-old was part of a Rams side that dramatically blew promotion from the Championship this season and may want to move on.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa could face another battle to hang onto star striker Christian Benteke, with champions-in-waiting Chelsea now on his trail.
Premier League rivals Tottenham now appear to have give up and are after 'the new Benteke' - Club Brugge teenager Obbi Oulare.
But fellow Belgium forward Benteke could attract a £30million bid from Stamford Bridge, after an injury-ridden first season for Diego Costa.
WOLVES-WALSALL
Wolves are working on their targets after releasing Leon Clarke and Jake Cassidy, while Walsall are in talks over a new contract with goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell.
