We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves star Bakary Sako's wage demands may not deter Premier League side Leicester City, who are winning their battle to stay in the division.

The Foxes are prepared to meet his £50,000-a-week asking price and pay him a significant signing on fee, which is putting off West Brom and Aston Villa.

City want to be absolutely sure they beat the drop, though, so are unlikely to make their move until next month, which could still put them at a disadvantage.

WEST BROM

West Brom might go back in for Swansea City left-back Neil Taylor, with talk that the club are prepared to let him leave the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans are looking at Franck Tabanou, St Etienne's former France Under-21 international, as a possible £4million replacement for Taylor.

That could pave the way for the 26-year-old's arrival at the Hawthorns, with the Baggies known to be interested in the Wales star since January.

Both Albion and Villa could also turn to Michail Antonio as an alternative to Sako, after his impressive season for a struggling Nottingham Forest side.

The 25-year-old is another keen to step up from the Championship but, unlike Sako, would command a transfer fee to depart the City Ground.

ASTON VILLA

Tottenham Hotspur appear to be giving up on their chase for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, but they do still want a similar forward.

Spurs are ready to join the race for fellow Belgian and Club Brugge front-man Obbi Oulare, after their scouts watched his last two matches.

The 19-year-old has been labelled the 'new Benteke' because of his powerful frame and quiet nature off the field, which has been duly noted.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
