We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Two more Premier League suitors might yet come forward when Bakary Sako's contract at Wolves expires come the end of the season.

Aston Villa currently lead West Brom in the chase, but Newcastle United and Stoke City are also keeping tabs on the Mali international.

The 26-year-old has been courted by Russian side Dynamo Moscow, with Turkish side Besiktas another linked as transfer talk hots up.

WEST BROM

West Brom and Premier League rivals Hull City are both on the trail of Poland left winger Maciej Rybus, who plays in Russia for Terek Grozny.

The 25-year-old is looking to leave his current club and has a buy-out clause of £3.2million, with one season remaining on his current contract.

The Baggies and top-flight cohorts Swansea City are also looking at Scotland Under-21 midfielder Ryan Christie, who is starring for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in his homeland.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa will fight to keep hold of defender Ron Vlaar in the summer - and the Holland international has indicated he wants to stay put.

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as a potential destination for the 30-year-old, who will soon be out-of-contract with the claret and blues.

But Vlaar may opt to sign a new deal, saying: "Things have changed for me in the past few months since Tim Sherwood took over as manager.

"Now I just want to play and be important for the team. This helps - you can trust me on that."

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
