We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

With all recruitment for this season over, Wolves are mulling over a new target list for the summer, although they could yet be promoted from the Championship.

If they remain in the second-tier, they could well look to the teams in their own division for bolstering their squad, as well as some of the better players in League One.

Milton Keynes Dons striker Will Grigg and Sheffield United winger Jamie Murphy may fall into the bracket of the latter policy and would want to test themselves at a higher level.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees has been in great form for the Championship Owls during his first campaign at Hillsborough, but would command a significant fee.

WEST BROM

West Brom will consider a move for Rickie Lambert, who turned down a move to Aston Villa from Liverpool in January, at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old England striker hasn't been able to command a regular place at Anfield and is becoming increasingly frustrated on the bench.

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk is another target for the Baggies, but Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham also want the centre-back.

A clear-out at the Hawthorns is likely under boss Tony Pulis, who arrived in the New Year, which might see up to seven players leave the club.

Youssouf Mulumbu and Victor Anichebe could be put up for sale, while Graham Dorrans is set to complete a £1.5million move to Norwich.

Andre Wisdom is likely to return to Liverpool at the end of his season-long loan spell while Christian Gamboa, Sebastien Pocognoli and Jason Davidson are unhappy.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph will still be courted by the Premier League big guns in the summer, despite signing a new deal until 2019.

The England international, 25, is viewed by Manchester United as a potential signing, as the Red Devils look to replace Michael Carrick.

And Villa haven't given up on a move for Sam Bryam, having looked at the 25-year-old right-back and Leeds United team-mate Lewis Cook.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
