We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves' club captain Sam Ricketts' move onto the coaching staff, alongside his playing duties, appears a resignation he will see out his contract.

The 33-year-old has made just five first-team appearances this season and was made available for loan in January, but there has been no takers.

The centre-back is now likely to remain at Molineux until his deal expires in the summer and then either hang up his boots or find a new club.

WEST BROM

West Brom striker Saido Berahino's presence at Old Trafford to watch Manchester United's FA Cup defeat at home to Arsenal has fuelled rumours of a move.

The 21-year-old, a boyhood United fan, was stopped in the crowd with his representative Aidy Ward, with United known to be after a forward.

The Red Devils will opt against Radamel Falcao's loan spell at the club from Monaco into a permanent deal at the end of the season.

And the Premier League giants have since been linked to Danny Ings, who is coming to the end of his contract at Burnley, and now Berahino.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa won't stand in the way of Manchester United loanee Tom Cleverley's wishes to join Everton when his temporary terms expire this summer.

The claret and blues are likely to activate the option to sign borrowed Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair, though, provided they stay in the Premier League.

Villa were reluctant to pay his £3.5million asking price in the January window or match his £45,000-a-week wages, but he's since hit three goals in his last four Villa outings.

WALSALL

Walsall have taken West Brom striker Alex Jones, 19, on trial and fielded the teenager in their reserve game at home to Morecambe today.
