We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett's admission that winger Bakary Sako could leave for the Premier League this month has put clubs on high alert.

Aston Villa have previously been linked to the Mali international, who is away playing for his country at the African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea.

Leicester City and Hull could also take a punt on the 26-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, as they look to stay in the Premier League after promotion.

WEST BROM

West Brom could also be rivalled by Hull for Wigan Athletic winger Callum McManaman, with the Latics already rejecting two bids from the Baggies.

Wigan are holding out for £6million, which could force Albion to look down their list of targets for alternative and more cost-effective wide men.

Nottingham Forest are adamant they won't sell Michail Antonio and have a transfer embargo hanging over their heads for the rest of this transfer window.

But Queens Park Rangers may listen to offers for Martin Phillips, with manager Harry Redknapp under pressure to cut the club's wage bill.

ASTON VILLA

Forest are ready to make their move for Aston Villa teenager Jack Grealish, with an approach for a rest of the season-long loan deal in the offing.

The aforementioned embargo means the Reds can only borrow players in January, with makes the 19-year-old Villa winger an even-more attractive prospect.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
