We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Twitter has been awash with rumours this morning that Wolves are lining up a loan move for Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios.

What would be a big-name capture appears unlikely, though, with the Honduras international currently coining in £35,000 a week.

An exit from the Britannia Stadium is likely enough, but Stoke would have to pick up a good portion of the tab for him to come to Molineux.

WEST BROM

West Brom and Leicester City are ready to battle it out for winger Michail Antonio, who has starred for struggling Nottingham Forest this season.

Championship side Forest will fight to keep the player they only signed from Sheffield Wednesday, for what was thought to be a £1.5million fee, last summer.

But that hasn't deterred the Foxes or the Baggies, who have him and Wigan's Callum McManaman on their list of targets for lower-league wide men.

And West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans is Premier League rivals Burnley's top target this month, although Championship club Fulham are also keen.

Albion boss Tony Pulis is reportedly willing to let Dorrans go, if he can bring fellow Scotland international Darren Fletcher to the Hawthorns from Manchester United.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke won't be sold on the cheap, the club insist. The Belgium international's output has been hampered with the league's lowest scorers this season.

But Villa are adamant that Benteke is not for sale, even for the £25million figure that was mooted when he was on top form last season.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
