We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves may look to keep Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish in the West Midlands if the claret and blues allow the teenager out on loan.

The 19-year-old has slipped further down the pecking order at Villa Park with the £3.2million arrival of Spanish midfielder Carles Gil last week.

Wolves' Championship rivals Nottingham Forest have already enquired about borrowing Grealish this season, with Brentford and Ipswich Town also interested.

WEST BROM

West Brom have been hit by a £6million price tag by Wigan Athletic as the Championship side try and ward the Baggies off winger Callum McManaman.

Sources claim that both Albion and Bournemouth have already seen £4million offers turned down, with the Latics keen to keep hold of him.

West Ham and former Wolves wide man Matt Jarvis is another alternative for West Brom boss Tony Pulis, who wants three to four signings.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa could make a cut-price move to bring in defender Michael Ciani, 30, from Italian club Lazio for a nominal fee this month.

The Frenchman's contract expires in the summer and there's little chance of him landing new terms, so his exit is definitely on the cards.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
