We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Head coach Kenny Jackett has denied Wolves are one of four clubs, three from the Championship, all tracking West Ham striker Sean Maguire.

The Hammers are willing to let the 20-year-old out on loan this month with Birmingham City, Bolton and Sheffield United also linked.

Fellow forward Andy Delort has also re-emerged as a transfer target for Wolves, after only moving to Wigan Athletic for £3million last summer.

The 23-year-old hasn't settled with the Latics, failing to score in his nine appearances, the last of which came on December 13.

Charlton could also revive their interest in the highly-rated striker, who earns £14,000-a-week. Wolves weren't prepared to match those wages.

WEST BROM

West Brom could be set for a tug-of-war with Premier League rivals West Ham to land defender Gabriele Angella from Championship side Watford.

The Italian centre-back, 25, has played at Under-21 level for his country and has impressed for the Hornets since joining on a permanent basis 18 months ago.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa could face competition from Italian giants Inter Milan for winger Scott Sinclair, who is available for £2.5million from Manchester City.

New Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew also wants the English wide man, with City happy for it to end up a bidding war to bump up the price.

And Aston Villa will give short shrift if Manchester United decide to make a derogatory offer of £1.5million for captain Ron Vlaar.

The claret and blues would rather allow the Holland international run down his contract and leave for nothing at the end of the season.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
