We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Right-back Kevin Foley has returned to Wolves at the end of his loan spell at Championship side Blackpool, who appear to have passed on extending the deal.

Wolves will now try and find another taker for the 30-year-old, who is out-of-contract and will be released in the summer.

WEST BROM

West Brom have Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo on their list of captures for this transfer window, but not until the end of the month.

The Japan international, 28, has been told he can leave the San Siro but is currently on Asian Cup duty, where he could be until January 31.

And the Baggies' club-record signing Brown Ideye, who has failed to shine since a £10million move from Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev in the summer, is in Sunderland's sights.

It's been suggested that the Black Cats hope to tempt West Brom into doing business, with a bid in the region of £6million this month.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke is back in the sights of the Premier League's big guns, with Manchester City apparently preparing a move.

With that in mind, Villa have joined a host of clubs looking to sign West Ham striker Mauro Zarate on loan for the rest of the season.

The claret and blues will have a fight on their hands to snare the 27-year-old Argentinian with Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers interested.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
