Plenty more to come from us, says Wolves' Edwards

Kenny Jackett's side go to mid-table Leeds tomorrow in fourth place, three points off leaders Derby.

Wolves returned to winning ways with Tuesday's 2-0 victory over fancied Middlesbrough and Edwards believes Jackett's emerging team can improve further.

"We're at maybe 75 to 80 per cent of what we can potentially produce so, with that extra 20 per cent to come, we can do good things," said Edwards, a veteran of the 2008-09 Championship-winning team.

"I don't think we've completely clicked yet and that's something to take confidence from.

"We've had a disappointing couple of weeks with not picking up many of the right results but we haven't lost many games either.

"What was better about Tuesday night was the second half when we controlled the game a bit more and I think we have to take that into the upcoming matches.

"When we pass the ball, even if we're patient and passing it out along the back and into the midfield, it can frustrate the opposition.

"I've been on the receiving end of that in the past and it can demoralise when you're constantly chasing the ball."

Meanwhile Edwards's midfield team-mate Lee Evans insists Wolves have learned their lessons over conceding immediately after scoring themselves.

"We've learned our lessons – we've watched clips back, we know what we've got to do better and we'll try to do that on tomorrow," said Evans.
