Albion
West Brom are reportedly monitoring the situation of Man City midfielder Jack Rodwell. Alan Irvine would be keen to tie up a loan or permanent move for the player he worked with when they were both at Everton.
Albion are also linked with a move with former player Kieran Richardson. The left-sided player was relegated with Fulham last season.
Villa
Aston Villa have joined Leeds United in the race to sign Brazilian striker Jefferson. The forward currently plays in Serie B with side Latina.
Nuremburg midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake has again been linked with a move to Aston Villa. The player is currently in Japan's World Cup squad.
