Wolves, Walsall and Birmingham City were today all seeded for the Capital One Cup first round draw.

The three West Midlands teams are all in the southern half of the draw, which will be made next Tuesday at 10am.

The seedings means they can't play each other at the first-round stage and means they will face either one of four League One teams – Coventry, Crawley, Gillingham or play-off winners Southend – or one of 15 League Two sides.

Eighteen teams in the south and 17 in the north are seeded.

Wolves and Blues are two of 11 Championship sides in the southern half of the draw.
