Reactions Goalkeeper Coaching, which has two schools in Stafford and Stoke, will be holding classes every week with one exclusively for girls.

They are hosting an open day at Tipton RSA Academy tomorrow from 11am ahead of their first courses.

England Under-23 – and former Birmingham keeper – Mary Earps will be appearing and current students will be doing a goalkeeping marathon to raise money for the Donna Louise Trust.

Head coach Eddie Johnson said: "Monday nights will be girls only and Tuesday will be a mixed class. The reasons doing a girls course was up until recently there hadn't been enough call for it but now girls' football fastest growing sport in the country. It's a unique thing we're doing.

"We chose Tipton because they have 3G facilities so we can train regardless of weather, it's safe for the kids and they don't get muddy."

The courses at Tipton start on June 16 – for girls – and June 17, for a mixed class, with both being held between 7pm and 8pm.
