Aston Villa have joined the race to sign Almeria playmaker Aleix Vidal. The 24-year-old has been attracting interest from other Premier League sides including Everton and Newcastle United. Vidal has four years to run on his current deal but is said to be keen to test himself in the Premier League.
Shay Given has admitted he may need to leave Villa Park in order to continue his playing career. The 38-year-old goalkeeper spent a period on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough during the 2013/14 season.
Albion
Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster if current number one Hugo Lloris departs the White Hart Lane.
Wolves
Leeds United are set to rival Wolves for the signing of Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire.
