Albion flop Sinclair preparing to leave

Scott Sinclair's girlfriend today confirmed one of football's worst-kept secrets by revealing the Albion misfit will be leaving the Midlands this summer.

Former Coronation Street actress and reality TV star Helen Flanagan confirmed the couple "won't be staying in Birmingham".

Sinclair, 25, has flopped since joining the Baggies on loan from Manchester City at the start of the season and has made just four Premier League starts for the club.

Flanagan, who has moved to the Midlands to live with the winger since they rekindled their romance last year, said: "Scott breaks up in about six weeks. We don't know where we're going, but we won't be staying in Birmingham. We're actually building a house near London that will be ready by Christmas."

The news will come as little shock to Baggies fans despite head coach Pepe Mel insisting at the weekend that Sinclair could still become a star. The former Chelsea youngster has been axed from the matchday squad for the last three Baggies matches with academy products Liam O'Neil and Kemar Roofe both preferred as substitutes.

He has failed to make an impact at The Hawthorns and, after a similarly unproductive season at City, could struggle to find another Premier League club.
