Video: Matt Jones earns Masters spot with 42-yard chip

It was the first play-off hole in the Shell Houston Open and the pressure was on Australian Matt Jones but with a shot like this, you'd never have thought it.

Jones hit a final-round of 66 to catch up with Matt Kuchar, who had held the lead before the American holed a number of bogeys allowing Jones the chance of a play-off.

Kuchar holed a final-round of 75 as his shot found the water on the 18th.

Jones scored 15 under for the tournament whilst British hopeful Rory McIlroy finished on seven under par for the weekend.

If a place at the Masters wasn't enough, Jones also pocketed $1.2 million (approximately £715,000).
