Poll: Are Premier League referees better than their Football League counterparts?

Andre Marriner has dominated the headlines this weekend after he sent off Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs instead of winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

England winger Chamberlain dived to prevent Chelsea scoring during their Premier League encounter on Saturday 22nd April but Marriner sent Gibbs off instead after appearing to confuse the two players.

Chris Foy was on duty as Hull City beat Albion - but, in the words of Shane Long, gave a soft penalty when Craig Dawson was penalised for tripping the former Albion striker.

Wolves received an FA fine for receiving six yellow cards in their 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Premier League referee Kevin Friend was on duty at Bramall Lane and handed out the six yellow's to Wolves players.

So, Premier League referees: are they better than their Football League counterparts?
